it was a cold rainy day in early january but you wouldn’t have known it inside this cozy love filled wedding! i don’t know that i have ever met two people so effusive and connected with their love. their family and friends gathered to celebrate the union and the result was a beautiful evening that i felt lucky to attend and photograph!
my favorite part of the day were their emotional moments together but a close second were the personal touches. the groom’s sister created gorgeous chalkboard signs directing guests to the ceremony. his grandmother handmade porcelain blue crosses for the guests. the couple had bags of their favorite coffee beans as a fun favor. the florals even included produce as a nod to the groom’s passion for food as a chef!
but definitely the shot of them hugging in the dark outside after they were officially husband and wife is my favorite of the day. it was genuine and spontaneous just like they are. congratulations, j+e!
